Tyrel, the man behind "Jensen Silver," started his career
with metals in
high school, building spurs for himself and fellow bullriders. His
spurs
are worn today by such bullriding greats as Brian Canter,
Ednei Caminhas, Tyler Thomson and Devin Mezi.
His interest in metals led him to work with fellow silversmiths,
Kelly Mcrae
and Peter Swales. His work with silver and gold has evolved into
his being
described as "one of the best
silversmiths in Western Canada".
His love of rodeo and his career in professional bullriding, makes
his
unique buckle designs sought after by many rodeo associations, including
the Calgary Stampede.
Self taught in stone setting and ring making techniques that have
become the envy of his peers. He works with clients to design and
build pieces that
are uniquely their own.
With an inventory of one of a kind pendants, rings, bracelets,
money
clips,earrings and buckles, there is sure to be something for the
most
discrimminating of tastes.
